Hey I'm Amanda!
After we bought our first house in 2015, I was immediately drawn to real estate. Even though I really enjoyed the process of buying a house, I remember feeling in the dark and uninformed about the process. There can sometimes be a lot of unknowns, and it's my goal to help my clients understand and feel comfortable every step of the way. If I can make buying or selling a house easier for the homeowner, I feel like I've done my job.
Communication is the key to a successful transaction, and I enjoy working with the team of lenders and other agents in order to make sure everything goes smoothly and closes on time. I stay on top of paperwork using checklists and reaching out to each party involved to keep everyone in the loop.
I love working with sellers because it's exciting to get to see someone move on to the next chapter, and I especially enjoy helping when I'm able to get someone out of a negative situation. Seeing the relief of a client getting freed from something that wasn't right for them is SO rewarding. I'm trained in short sales, and have helped several clients sell before having to face foreclosure. Even when it's just time to move to the next property, I'm here to make sure all my client's interests are represented.
Working with buyers can be even more fun because it gives me an opportunity to really understand what someone is looking for, as well as their tastes and preferences. It's a more personal, deep connection, and it's almost like becoming part of the family for a while. Even once I've found my client their dream home, I stay in contact and create a connection that lasts for life.
When I'm not showing houses, I love spending time with my dog Wiley, cat Polly, stepson Brigham, and husband Jeremy. I'm super passionate about animals, and helped out at the Jackson Animal Clinic for 15 years. One of my favorite things about real estate is being able to help out local businesses through my client gifts and sharing businesses with people new to the area. I love finding new restaurants and recipes, and looking for new things to do in the area.
