West TN Coffee Spots

Best Coffee Shops in West Tennessee

A local guide from a West TN real estate agent who’s always on the road

I’ll be honest — I love coffee shops ☕
When I’m out showing homes all over West Tennessee, I make it a point to stop at local coffee spots along the way. From grabbing coffee between showings to meeting clients, writing offers, or picking up something quick to eat, these are places I genuinely enjoy and recommend.

If you’re relocating to West TN or exploring different towns, coffee shops are a great way to get a feel for the community and everyday life. Here are some of my favorite local spots across the region.

Coffee Shops in Jackson, TN

(My hometown)

J-Town Coffee

Now located on Vann Drive, J-Town Coffee is one of my go-to stops. I even include their bagged coffee in my client closing gifts. They feature daily pastries from two local bakers, with fresh options that change every day.

Turntable Coffee Counter

Located in downtown Jackson, Turntable Coffee Counter offers indoor seating with street-view windows and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s right across from ComeUnity Cafe, making it an easy spot to grab coffee and lunch in one stop.

Green Frog Coffee Co.

More than just a coffee shop, Green Frog has multiple locations across West Tennessee, including Jackson, Middleton, and Dyersburg. The Jackson location offers indoor seating and a patio, plus food and ice cream. They’re also known for continuing production of the beloved Ho Ho’s egg rolls through a local family partnership — a great example of supporting local history and businesses.

Jackson’s Kitchen & Catering

Located in downtown Jackson, Jackson’s Kitchen & Catering is a favorite for breakfast and lunch and pairs perfectly with a good cup of coffee. They’re known for fresh, made-from-scratch meals, a rotating daily menu, convenient grab-and-go options, and house-made desserts. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast before a busy day or stopping in for lunch between errands, this is a dependable local spot that fits naturally into everyday life in Jackson.

Coffee Shops in Henderson, TN

Besso’s Coffee

A great local option offering quality coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and quick grab-and-go sandwiches and premade items.

Overflow Drive Thru

One of my most consistent stops. Overflow offers excellent service, fun coffee drinks, protein drinks, Lotus energy drinks, food, and great energy bites — all in a convenient drive-thru format.

Coffee Shops in Lexington, TN

Java Junkies & Grill

I haven’t personally made it by yet, but I regularly see their Facebook posts and hear great feedback from locals. When Jitters closed, many residents shifted to McDonald’s or Starbucks location, but it’s always great to see local shops supported when available.

Coffee Shops in Medina, TN

A Third Place Coffee & Books

A Third Place Coffee & Books is exactly what the name suggests — a welcoming space beyond home and work. This locally owned shop blends coffee, books, and community, making it a great place to relax, read, meet friends, or get some work done.

Coffee Shops in Alamo, TN

Stir

Located on East Main Street just off the court square, Stir is one of those spots that makes small towns special. Friendly staff, fun décor if you dine in, and great food and drinks make it a local favorite.

Coffee Shops in Trenton, TN

To The Last Drop

This shop has fueled me many times over the years. I’ve met clients here, had lunch, and even written offers using their Wi-Fi. Great coffee, food, atmosphere, and a patio — an easy recommendation.

Coffee Shops in Huntingdon, TN

1882 Coffee Company

1882 Coffee Company is a great local stop offering quality coffee in a welcoming, small-town setting. It’s the kind of place that fits naturally into daily life — whether you’re grabbing coffee on the go or meeting up with friends.

Thinking About Moving to West Tennessee?

One of my favorite parts of real estate is sharing what life actually feels like here — not just the homes, but the places people spend time every day. Local coffee shops say a lot about a community.
