November is here! It’s time to reflect on what we have to be thankful for. I love sending cards to past clients and folks who have given me advice, referrals, and been there for me. October was a very fun month. I love recapping the month before on these blogs. It’s almost like a journal entry for me.
My family took a much needed few days away to explore Asheville North Carolina. We really needed an extra day. The leaves were changing and it was such a beautiful drive. We explored creeks in the Chimney Rock National Park, we climbed the stairs to Vista Rock. We had Wiley with us in the park. We visited the Biltmore. They were decorating for Christmas. It was a site to see! I highly recommend this trip. It was around a 6-7 hour drive from Jackson. Here are several photos from our trip.
Halloween
For those that don’t know me Halloween is my absolute favorite thing about homeownership. I love seeing costumes. This year I was able to participate in 3 events and then of course hand out candy, to about 150 trick or treaters, at my door in Hunters Green North. We started later this year so I have left over candy. I will be taking those to area blessing boxes.
CWTAR Trunk or Treat
Our real estate board: Central West TN Association of Realtors had a Trunk or Treat a few weeks prior to Halloween. It was very well attended being our first one. I made 100 individual bags and gave those out plus some of my overstock of halloween gummies and tootsie rolls. Photos below
Trunk or Treat Jackson Pet Emergency Clinic
It’s no mystery that I love animals! I was invited to Jackson Pet Emergency’s pet trunk or treat. I sat up a table and was able to meet several adorable pets dressed up for Halloween. This event was a few days prior to Halloween and so much fun. I found our pup Wiley a cute costume (pop star) at Petsmart and it was 50%! She’s 65 lbs so it is very hard to find clothes to fit her.
Coldwell Banker Barnes- Jackson Halloween Drive Through
Our Coldwell Banker Barnes drive through trick or treat was great! We had a fire truck from Madison County Fire Department, several agents, and Trisha Richards from Mortgage Investors Group. I love this yearly event. I’m so thankful to be affiliated with the wonderful agents at my office. They have a heart for people and that is why I don’t hop brokerage to brokerage. I surround myself and lean on agents with many years in the business. Mentorship is so important. I read the book called the Go Giver when I started in real estate. I love sharing knowledge with others when I learn something helpful.
I didn’t capture too many photos I was busy handing out candy.
